Exploring Banff
This week Charlie and I have been staying in Banff. We’ve been laying low, hanging out with my sister, and exploring the nearby lakes. First we went for a hike around Johnson Lake. It’s a short, but beautiful trail that encompasses the lake in a clockwise direction. For our next adventure, we hiked up Tunnel Mountain. At the peak, the whole town of Banff can be seen. It’s beautiful and very picturesque. Later in the week we explored the Cascade Ponds. Charlie is having a fantastic time swimming often and exploring with me. At the end of every day, he is one exhausted dog. Without fail though, he wakes up each day excited for the next adventure! On a personal note, this week someone said to me that Charlie would be a fantastic dog for someone that struggles with depression. I can wholeheartedly say that he is the best dog for me. He has so much life, happiness, and love to share and I am unbelievably lucky to have him as my companion. Next we’ll be heading east and stopping in Medicine Hat!
